Virtual Reality, Streaming and beyond
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Computer Science at Texas State University, with a primary research focus on Virtual Reality and immersive content streaming.
I hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brasilia (2023). My thesis introduced a 360-degree video player that enables users' attention to be redirected to key scenes through what we call "dynamic edits". The platform was developed for use in research and experiments related to 360-degree video streaming and user Quality of Experience (QoE).
I also have experience as a Systems Analyst, having worked on the Siemens Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) project. As a developer, I am always eager to learn about new features and tools. I also enjoy exploring Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence.

I work on the Siemens biggest Advanced Distribution Manage- ment System (ADMS) project within the Outage Management System (OMS) team using Agile methodology. I work with innovation to provide on-demand solutions to the customers, utilizing tools such as Java, Python, Node.js, and PL/SQL.
I am responsible for assisting undergraduate and master's students in the course 'Human Factors,' including assigning a portion of their grades.
While working on Siemens, I had the oportunity to conduct a 3 hours course related to my expertise in the company for an audience of approximately 20 people. In addition, in the first weeks of the interns' onboarding, I was reponsible to help them in their ramp-up process.

I had the pleasure of being a dance assistant for two years during my bachelor's degree. During that time, I discovered that dancing is one of my true passions.
When I was a child, my father introduced me to anime like "Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac" and "Yu yu Hakusho". I still really enjoy watching this type of content! Now I'm watching One piece from the beginning. Wish me luck.
