Welcome! I am a passionate researcher and a Doctoral Instructional Assistant in Computer Science at Texas State University. My journey began with an MS in Electrical Engineering from the same esteemed institution, during which I served as a Graduate Instructional Assistant. Research

PhD in Computer Science

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas State University under the guidance of Dr. Tao Hou. My primary research interest lies in cyber security, with a specific focus on IoT security. I commenced my Ph.D. journey in the summer of 2023.

Master's in Electrical Engineering

Before starting my Ph.D., I completed my MS in Electrical Engineering at Texas State University. I attended this program from Fall 2021 to Summer 2023. During my MS, my research was centered around LoRa communication security. I applied ASCON encryption and authentication, utilized ECDH for key exchange, and incorporated three distinct visualizations to present the data.

Current PhD Research

In my ongoing Ph.D. research, I am delving deep into enhancing the security of IoT devices. I am exploring the potential of integrating novel attack techniques to elevate the security standards of IoT systems.

About Me

Greetings! I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in Computer Science at Texas State University, having embarked on this ambitious journey in the summer of 2023. Prior to this, I earned my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same esteemed institution between 2021 and 2023. My academic foundation was laid at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in Bangladesh, where I pursued my B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from 2014 to 2018. My bachelor's thesis delved into the intricate realm of "Improved 3D Reconstruction for Images with Moving Objects using Semantic Image Segmentation and Binary Masking" – a topic I approached with both passion and precision. Upon the culmination of my undergraduate studies in 2018, I took on a professional role at Robi Axiata Limited, one of Bangladesh's leading telecom operators, serving diligently until July 2021. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, my roots have always shaped my perspective, guiding both my academic and professional pursuits.
