I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science. I received my master’s degree in December 2017 form Texas State University. For my master’s thesis, I worked on Deep Learning to Detect Events of Interest in Bio-Signals, where I combined deep learning (CNN) with traditional machine learning to improve the classification accuracy on small datasets. I am currently a researcher in the Efficient Computing Laboratory (ECL) and a Doctoral Instructional Assistant at Texas State University.
