Howdy 👋!
I am a Doctoral Instructional Assistant and Computer Science PhD researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Texas State University.I am a member of the Intelligent Security Group, led by Dr. Mina Guirguis . My research focuses on the intersection of security, networks, trustworthy AI, and machine learning. I study how stochastic control, graph-based methods, and AI/ML can be used to analyze complex information and cyber-physical systems and make them more reliable, interpretable, and secure.
I completed my Bachelor of Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and worked as a Software Engineer in the industry. The emergence of large language models (LLMs) and advances in artificial intelligence sparked my interest in understanding how intelligent systems work, how they can be made more reliable and trustworthy, and how they can be securely integrated into real-world systems. This interest motivated me to pursue graduate studies and transition into research. Before joining Texas State University, I earned my Master of Science in Computing and Data Science from Sam Houston State University, Texas.
